Transportation planning involves analyzing numerous elements in order to provide for a harmonious development. Among these elements are: adequate and convenient access, roadway systems capable of accommodating the traffic associated with the development uses, sufficient parking, proper signing, etc.
DeShazo Group is currently involved in governmental standards imposed for various mixed-use developments, access criteria, roadway requirements, and other factors. DeShazo Group provides traffic impact analyses, conceptual planning and functional parking designs, traffic control and signing, signal warrant analysis, and roadway and access design.
DeShazo Group have completed numerous professional site plans for large format commercial, institutional and residential development sites. Our team is working with several communities within Tulsa to develop, maintain and upgrade recreation sports complexes, subdivisions, retail malls, medical offices, business parks and educational facilities.

DeShazo Group engineers provide such retention systems by use of sheet piling and bored anchoring systems for site-specific applications.
Design of retaining walls for residential and commercial applications for site restricted locations including: cast concrete, earth retention systems, stacked mass systems and vegetative sloped earth systems.
DeShazo Group engineers have designed highway and pedestrian bridges to meet the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT), city, county and Federal Highway Association (FHWA) guidelines. Load Factor Design (LFD), Load Factor and Resistance Design (LRFD), and design yield criteria are facilitated by in-house engineering.
