DT&A Company History
Steve A. Powell, P.E. - Vice President
DeShazo Group was formed in 1980 in Dallas, Texas, to meet a growing need for practical expertise in civil engineering and planning type projects.  The Tulsa office was opened in 1983 in response to a growing need for our services in Oklahoma.  Our ongoing relationship with the City of Pryor has developed over the years to the extent that an office was established in Pryor in 2008 to more effectively address their increased project needs.  The Oklahoma offices continue to provide professional planning and consulting services to numerous public, institutional and private clients throughout the state of Oklahoma.

Our success over the past 25 plus years is due to our ability to provide a professional, dedicated staff that is responsive to the needs of our clients.  DeShazo Group feels that our major company resource is our staff.  DeShazo Group staff company-wide consists of approximately 30 professional engineers, planners, and support personnel that include computer draftsmen, analysts, and other technicians. Our Tulsa office has four engineers, two support technical personnel and an administrative assistant.
